CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say one person is dead and another injured following a shooting at Coral Square Mall in suburban Fort Lauderdale.

Coral Springs police spokesman Ernesto Bruna tells local news outlets the shooting that occurred just before 10 a.m. Saturday wasn't random. Few other details have been released.

Much of the mall, which has 120 stores, reopened to holiday weekend shoppers around 11:30 a.m.

Shopper Tracy Collins tells the Sun Sentinel (http://bit.ly/2gsGxVn ) she was in line at Old Navy when she heard the shooting. Store employees directed everyone to the rear of the store, where they stayed for about an hour. She says people were running and bumping into one other to get to safety.
