LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- A Naples food truck is serving up classic British dishes and other worldwide cuisines.
The Brit Pit is owned by Carol and Carl Smith. Their daughter, Natasha also helps them out. The family moved to Naples from Manchester, England in 2013. They opened their food truck business in 2017.
Carl was a chef for 25 years in England and he always wanted to open a restaurant. He and Natasha decided to open a food truck instead because they thought it would give them more freedom.
The Brit Pit's most popular dish is their fish and chips. They also serve Korean tacos, steak and peppers, gyros and more. They have vegan and vegetarian options, too.
