FORT MYERS - An evening of Visual Arts Gallery Openings & More. On the First Friday of each month, eleven art galleries invite locals and visitors to a self-guided walking tour throughout the Downtown Fort Myers River District core and the Gardner's Park area. Art enthusiasts can "Meet the Artists" at most of the art galleries and enjoy the live art demonstrations throughout the River District!

Bonita Springs Safety Palooza
BONITA SPRINGS - This event will feature free backpacks, school supplies, books, food, bike lights, games including bounce houses, prizes, raffle for a $500 gift card, live animals including a wolf, reptiles, baby pig, teeth exams, tons of other free goodies, loads of safety information, and a chance to meet your favorite local first responders in the U.S. Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Highway Patrol, Lee County Sheriff's Office, and Bonita Springs Fire & Rescue! Over 40 organizations are ready to serve the community and help prepare you for this school year. This is a free event!

4th Annual South Cape BaconFest
CAPE CORAL - Bacon lovers, united! This annual trolley event hooks you up with mouth watering drink and appetizer samples throughout South Cape Coral. You’ll enjoy unlimited rides on the trolleys, which stop at 12 different locations. Attendees will vote on the best bacon themed appetizer, best bacon themed drink and best overall bacon experience. Dress for the occasion and you could win $100 cash in the BaconFest Photo Contest.
