FORT MYERS, Fla. – Walt Wesley graduated from Dunbar High School in 1962 and was recruited to the University of Kansas Basketball Team.
That made him the first Dunbar graduate to receive a scholarship to play basketball.
Walt Wesley went on to play in ten NBA seasons with eight teams, scoring over five thousand points during his professional career.
