Multiple brush fires in Lehigh Acres cause evacuations

Crews are responding to multiple fires happening in Lehigh Acres.

Officials have confirmed homes in the are of Grant Boulevard and Charwood Avenue South are being evacuated.

At this time SR 82 will be shut down. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
