LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The PowerBall jackpot continues to climb heading into the New Years Day drawing.
No winners were selected on neither Christmas night's nor Saturday night's drawings.
The multi-state PowerBall game has now gone 16 drawings without a winner, pushing the current jackpot up to $220 million for this Wednesday night's drawing.
That makes it the 4th largest PowerBall jackpot of the year. In April, a Wisconsin man was the sole winner of a $768.4 million jackpot.
If you don’t want to wait that long, you can try Tuesday night's MegaMillions drawing, with a jackpot of $55 million.
