CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Fire Department and Police Department are investigating a house fire at 3646 NE 10th Place.
Cape Coral Police say It was called in as a fire and eventually changed to arson, which typically falls to the fire department for investigation.
The home was under construction and unoccupied.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in two locations: the master bedroom closet and the garage.
Both were contained to the room of origin.
The damage was approximately $20,000.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
