UPDATE: The fire is currently 100% contained. There were no immediate threats to homes. 40 acres were burned.

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Bayshore Fire Rescue, North Fort Myers Fire Department, and the Florida Forrest service are en route to a growing brush fire on Bowling Rd and Lost Lane in North Fort Myers.
The fire is approximately 20-25 acres. It is progressing but not rapidly. Authorities report there are two separate fires.
There are no reported damages to homes in the area and people who live on Lost Lane have voluntarily evacuated.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
