CAPE CORAL, FLa. — CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Southwest Florida firefighters are dealing with the effects of dry weather conditions.
Crews in Cape Coral had to put out a 20-acre brush fire along Burnt Store Road on Monday afternoon. They used a bulldozer to get it out.
The Caloosahatchee Forestry Center tells Fox 4 the fire is now fully contained.
Crews had to divert traffic around a section of Burnt Store Road for several hours, but it re-opened around 7:40 p.m.
