If you've been waiting for cool, crisp mornings and breezy comfortable afternoons, then you won't have to wait for much longer. A strong cold front is expected to arrive by late this week through early this weekend bringing a much anticipated cool down to the area. While much of this week will remain quite warm, especially in the afternoon, temperatures by later this weekend into early next week will turn much cooler in the wake of the front.

How cool? Highs in the upper 70s and low 80s with lows in the 50s for areas well inland. The earliest we’d see these temperatures would be Sunday, and likely lasting through Monday of next week. The coolest mornings will be Sunday and Monday morning when most areas will drop into the low 60s. Some of the typically cooler spots well inland could see some mid and upper 50s by Monday morning.
