The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating at the Family Diskount Food Store on Cypress Drive in Pine Manor.
Witnesses tell Four in Your Corner an employee at the convenience store was shot during an attempted robbery.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and we're told deputies have a suspect in custody.
