Deputies are conducting a death investigation after responding to a service call.
It happened at approximately 5 a.m. in the area of Heron Wood Lane in Fort Myers.
Upon arrival, a subject experienced a medical event, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office Deputies.
The subject was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
