Man dead in Fort Myers shooting, FMPD looking...

UPDATE: The victim of a Thanksgiving drive by shooting in Dunbar has been identified as Samson Morency of Lehigh Acres.

Police are still searching for a late 1980's or early 1990's, black, two-door, Chevy Monte Carlo. The vehicle has red pin stripes, stock wheel and no window tint.

On November 26, 2015 at 12:39 p.m. the Fort Myers Police Department responded to 2143 Barden Street in reference to a drive-by shooting. Upon arrival officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound outside the residence. Lee County Emergency Medical Service was summoned. The male died on scene.  
Detectives are actively working the incident to include canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses. A suspect vehicle described as a late 1980's or early 1990's black, two-door, Chevy Monte Carlo was seen fleeing the scene southbound toward Edison Avenue. The vehicle then traveled east on Edison Avenue leaving the area. The Monte Carlo had red pin stripes, stock wheels and no window tint.
