FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- A woman was sexually assaulted by two men on Fort Myers Beach after having drinks at the Lani Kai.
The woman arrived at the Lani Kai on Friday June 9, around 9:30pm, the woman told police she met a white male around the age of 25, with brown hair wearing a long sleeve white and blue shirt. The two had a few alcoholic drinks at the Lani Kai before leaving for a walk on the beach.
Shortly after leaving the Lani Kai, the male yelled for another male on the beach who was wearing a black hat and green shirt. The woman was then forced to the ground and forced to have intercourse.
After a couple minutes, the woman was able to free herself and run back to the Lani Kai and asked to be escorted to her car which was parked at Hooters, this is where police were called.
Police are still looking for the two men in this case.
