The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating several car and home burglaries in Bonita Springs.
According to incident reports, several of the burglaries were off east Terry street and Imperial parkway, including a vehicle at a nearby dog park.
Detectives are actively gathering evidence in efforts to put the people responsible behind bars.
Four In Your Corner spoke to one of the victims who tells us his home was locked and secured but thieves shattered a sliding glass door to get inside.
"There's a four to five foot hole now," Guillermo Guasco said. "According to the police officer it was four or five people who broke in."
Reports show thieves walked away with jewelry, electronics, and thousands of dollars in hand.
