The School District of Collier County has come up with a proposal to make up the time missed by cancelling school for over two weeks due to Hurricane Irma.
The District is proposing returning 5 and a half days to the 2017-18 calendar with the following changes.
- October 16
- October 17
- November 10
- December 20 (early dismissal)
- February 19
- March 9
This proposed calendar will be voted on at the September 26th Regular School Board Meeting.
