FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- A dead hammerhead shark was caught on camera recently, being hauled off Fort Myers Beach.
Fox 4 viewer Ray Gilliland shot the video Monday morning near the Island Towers.
State wildlife officials are now working to figure out what caused this shark to die to in the first place, since there were no visible signs of any injuries.
Just two days before, another Fox 4 viewer witnessed an alligator swimming off the same beach before being trapped and taken away.
