CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A councilwoman is embarrassed by the Cape Coral Mayor.

Rana Erbrick says Mayor Marni Sawicki owes everyone an apology for her lack of professionalism.

Sawiciki was schooling the town council of Fort Myers Beach on water quality, when she decided she didn't like the questions Councilwoman Tracey Gore was asking.

Mayor Sawicki told her "I don't appreciate the tone that you use."

Gore responded with "what is your problem?!"

Councilwoman Summer Stockton made it clear that Sawicki was not welcome back to Fort Myers Beach after that outburst.

Stockton added, "I'm not going to sit here and tolerate that kind of behavior."

Cape Coral Councilwoman Rana Erbrick made this statement at Monday nights council meeting: " I will tell you right now I am embarrassed, I am dismayed. I am very disappointed" in the Mayor's behavior.

She asked that the Mayor apologize.

Mayor Sawicki stated that she will not apologize.

Erbrick stated she does not want to see the city's culture of professionalism erode and hopes Sawicki will change her "escalating pattern of behavior."
