A Lee County Sheriff's Deputy shot at a drug suspect Tuesday afternoon.
The Lee County Sheriff's Department says its Narcotics Unit was trying to arrest a suspect near U.S.41 & Coconut Mall.
The suspect jumped in his car and Sheriff's Deputies say he tried to run the officer over with his car.
He took off to a home on Burgundy Farms Road and holed up inside.
Sheriff's Deputies say he gave himself up and is under arrest tonight.
One Sheriff's Deputy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
