The 31st Annual American Sandsculpting Championship kicks off Friday on Fort Myers beach with sculptors, vendors, music and kids activities.
The 10 day contest is the largest sandsculpting event in the country. There are 40 sand sculptors that will compete November 17th to 26th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. everyday.
Opening day is $4 admission, but every other day is $7 at the gate and free for kids under four. They're also giving $1 off admission for veterans, active service members, police, fire rescue and first responders with a valid I.D.
The event is located in front of the Wyndham Garden Hotel at 6890 Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach.
