LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Drivers headed over any of the three toll bridges in Lee County will only have until Tuesday afternoon to enjoy toll-free crossings.
The county announced Monday that the Lee County Department of Transportation will resume collecting tolls at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
This includes tolls on Sanibel Causeway, Midpoint Memorial Bridge, and the Cape Coral Bridge.
The tolls were suspended before Hurricane Irma to allow for safe evacuations and return of residents.
All other state tolls in Florida remain suspended until further notice.
