FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Residents and businesses owners in the City of Fort Myers have sandbags available to them beginning Tuesday afternoon.
A limit of 20 bags per vehicle will be in effect.
The city says free self-service sand bags available for City of Fort Myers residents and business owners.
Sand will be available after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at two locations:
- 2300 Peck St.- In front of the former Atlantic Coast Line train station
- 9700 Treeline Ave.- Fire Station No. 5
Residents will need to provide their own shovel to fill the bags.

UPDATE (2:15PM) -- Both above locations have run out of sandbags. Residents than can supply their own bags can still fill them there.
