LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Power crews are making even more progress on getting everyone hooked up again.

LCEC said Friday morning that they've restored power to 97% of its customers, spread out among Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Broward counties.

Around 7,000 customers remain without power, but LCEC says 208,000 have been restored so far.

Friday is the day LCEC said the majority of their customers would be up and running by the end of the day.   They have more than 1,000 team members working around-the-clock, working to restore power.

Customers remaining out of power should contact the LCEC automated phone line - 239-656-2300, if they are the only one remaining out of power in their area and they have not reported it.

Meanwhile, as of Friday morning, Florida Power and Light says they have just 1,680 customers left without power after having restored power to 4.4 million customers.

Of those remaining without power, 1030 are in Collier County, 600 are in Lee County, 40 are in Glades County, and 10 are in Hendry County.
