COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- The South Florida Water Management district is getting more than $4.1 million for Hurricane Irma expenses.
FEMA has approved the funds to help the agency cover the costs of debris removal between September and October of 2017.
During that time, contractors gathered more than 13,000 cubic yards of vegetative debris from canals.
