Immokalee Fire responded to a brush fire occurring at 1513 Peace Way. Fire crews on scene say the 3+ acre fire is near a construction entrance to Ava Maria just off camp Keais Road.
Crews are also responding to another fire on Picayune Strand State Forest. Officials say this is a 1,000 acre fire and is 15% contained.
At this time there is no word on what caused both fires.
