The Cape Coral Arts and Music Festival returns to Southwest Florida

LEE COUNTY, Fla. --The Cape Coral Arts and Music Festival returns this weekend.

The event features over 300 hundred exhibitors showcasing various art forms, including photography, paintings, mixed media and more.

Organizers tell us this year brings a special area for children, musical acts and special accommodations for the visually impaired.

Kevin McNamara is the co-chair of the event. “We’ve opened this up to the visually impaired community. They can come in, feel and touch the artwork and experience it," he says.

The event is made possible by the Rotary Club of Cape Coral.

The festival takes place January 11th and 12th on Cape Coral Parkway.

Cape Coral Parkway will be closed to through traffic from Friday, January 10, at 7 p.m. to Sunday, January 12, at 9 p.m. Expect traffic delays.

Parking is available at all city-owned parking lots near the area (Big John’s Plaza and Club Square) at no charge.
