NAPLES, Fla. -- 46,000 children in southwest Florida will suffer from a severe mental illness in their lifetime.
Some of those children will get diagnosed as early as two years old.
But, there's a shortage of mental health professionals in southwest Florida.
While this won't help with severe cases, there is an event this weekend to help your children's mental health, while also getting them to have some fun. Dr. Lauren Mason with My Mind Spa in Naples came in studio to talk about the upcoming event.
