Cape Coral Seahawks vs Cypress Lake Panthers
Our game of the week is all about a team trying to reclaim lost glory the Cypress Lake Panthers haven't had a winning season in years, but there's hope this season could change all of that.
The team had arguably their biggest win in more than a decade last week holding on to beat rival Fort Myers by a mere two points.
But head coach Richie Rode who is a Cypress Lake graduate isn't letting it get to his team's head.
He's had a message for them that he's kept going all season.
Number 11 Senior C.J. Shedd hands off to number 1 11th grader Michael Lennett Jr. Who takes it across the goal line untouched a field goal makes it 7-0.
Cape tries to respond quickly, but at the goal line number 4 senior Adrian Medacco gives the extra effort to reach across the goal line but is stripped of the ball Cypress recovers.
A quick pass attempt to CypressLlakes Koby More is knocked loose with a big hit by Cape Coral JR Nick Montiero.
Cape responds with a drive ending with a leap by Cape coral Adrian Medacco to put the cape on the board.
Following the extra point score even at 7 Cypress Lakes, QB C.J. Shedd drops back, and Koby Moore pulls in a 35-yard pass putting cypress into scoring position.
That play is followed by a screen pass to Moore who shows some great speed and runs it in for the touchdown.

Dunbar Tigers vs East Lee Jaguars
Let's go to the edge of Lee County, where it was a fight in the jungle between the East Lee jaguars and the Dunbar Tigers.
East Lee has some cool colors, but Dunbar Just looked amazing in this one, and I'm not talking about their still fresh uniforms!
'Roger Mottley the third' here with the designed run up the left sideline for a good set of yards.
The Tigers running game was mean more yards here from Moses Cooper one the play after is Brandon Benjamin who looks like he's just jogging into the end zone for the score.
All this running had the east lee defense gassed.
The jags tried some running of their own going with the option play here, but they can't execute the pitch putting it on the ground.
Dunbar had problems of their own here with the high snap sailing over the quarterback's head and the Jags recovering.
But the Tigers roll away in this one winning 37 to nothing.

Island Coast Gators vs Ida Baker Bulldogs
Let's get back to Lee County where the Ida Baker Bulldogs were looking to rebound after a tough loss last week.
The team lost a squeaker and this week it wasn't any easier with a tough match up against a strong Island Coast team.
