CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A few Mariner Middle School teachers are trying to make learning during the pandemic more enjoyable for students.
Justine Shaul, Kristen Totten, and Stacey Sawyer came up with the idea of an outdoor learning space between buildings two and five.
The area would allow enough social distance so students could remove their mask and speak freely in the fresh air.
This week, the teachers started a GoFundMe account to help with items for the project, such as Adirondack chairs and greenery.
