LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A North Fort Myers woman is dead after a strange incident on Pine Island Road Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection with Judd Creek Boulevard, just west of North Cleveland Avenue/U.S. 41.

The woman, later identified as 44-year-old Rachel Lowe of North Fort Myers, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The van is described as possibly gray, silver, or maroon, with a fixed ladder on the back.

The death is still under investigation.  If you have any information about this incident, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or FHP at 239-938-1800.
