NAPLES, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference in Naples on Wednesday afternoon to sign a new bill called "No Patient's left Alone Act".
This bill is said to allow families to visit their loved ones in hospitals, nursing facilities, hospices, and assisted living facilities. The bill also allows visitors to see loved ones in an event of an emergency.
Governor Ron DeSantis was joined by Surgeon General Dr. Joe Ladapo and Agency for Health Care Administration Secretary Simone Marstiller.
