Missing Jacksonville boy found safe after alert

**UPDATE**. - Thanks to a tip, a missing 2-year-old boy from Jacksonville was found safe Thursday, according to Jacksonville Police.

A Florida Missing Child Alert was issued overnight for Legend Jones just after midnight on Wednesday.

Police said that the child was picked up from daycare with permission by a family friend, Keith Allen Martin at 2 p.m. Wednesday and had not been seen since.

The missing child alert stated that the two may have been traveling in a 2007, green BMW 328i with Florida tag number 4258UW.

The child was located just before 9 a.m. Thursday. Police said they made contact with Keith Martin and are no longer looking for the vehicle.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a boy last seen in Jacksonville on Wednesday.

2-year-old Legend Jones was last seen in the area of the 1900 block of Fouraker Road in Jacksonville, wearing a black and red "Cars" shirt, red pants, and black shoes.

He may be in the company of 49-year-old Keith Martin.

They may be traveling in a 2007, green BMW 328i, Florida tag number 4258UW. The vehicle has tinted windows, a scratch on the back driver's side, and a black bag over the rear driver's side window.

The boy is 3 feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

Martin is described as 5'6" tall, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
