FORT MYERS, FLa.- The Boston Red Sox hosted their fantasy camp Saturday, allowing campers to live out their major league aspirations as they hit, caught, and ran under the watchful eyes of the Red Sox greats.
Groups of lifelong Red Sox fans were excited to go toe to toe with former Red Sox players at Jet Blue Park. A chance that rookie camper Jake Hallonquist has been looking forward to all this life.
"A boyhood fantasy come true. There's nothing better than this." said Hallonquist.
Jake's dream wasn't the only ones becoming reality Saturday, one hundred fifty four fans made the transformation this week to Red Sox players. This included getting one-on-one time with former greats, memories that these fans will remember for the rest of their lives.
