CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say a road near two Cape Coral schools is closed due to a possible sinkhole and water main break Friday morning.

According to Cape Coral Police, it's in the 3200 block of Agualinda Boulevard.

That's just north of Gulf Elementary School and Ida Baker High School.

Agualinda Boulevard is closed in the area.  Parents at Gulf Elementary and Gulf Middle are urged to drop students off on the SW 17th Place side of the school.

The Fox 4 crew at the scene reports a strong foul odor in the air.
