A death investigation is underway after a worker, on a ladder, that fell into a power line dies, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said.
It happened Sunday morning at Docs Lane in Alva.
The worker, identified as 40-year-old Daniel Cruz Gomez, was employed with Southern Garden Citrus.
Cruz was immediately administered CPR by EMS but was pronounced dead at the scene.
