FORT MYERS, Fla. - A 63-year-old woman was arrested after telling an airport employee she packed pot in her checked luggage at Southwest Florida International Airport.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office say Nancy Arnone was being pushed in a wheelchair by an airport employee when she volunteered the information about packing marijuana in her luggage.

Sheriff's Deputies arrived at the airport and searched the luggage where they found three tubes of THC wax and a glass pipe with residue in it.

Arnone told deputies at first she got the marijuana from her daughter, claiming it was medicinal, but she did not have a prescription for it. She later changed her story, saying she got it from a good friend who only charged her $20 for it.
