NAPLES, Fla. — A woman is behind bars after crashing into an electrical box Thursday night in Naples.

Deputies say they received a call Thursday night that a silver vehicle with rear-end damage was traveling south on Livingston Road and was unable to stay in a single lane. While responding to that call, deputies were then dispatched to an accident at Livingston and Radio Road where the vehicle description had matched that of the reported reckless driver.

Deputies say they found a Lexus SUV, with rear-end damage, that crashed head-on into an electrical box causing about $10,000 worth of damage. They made contact with the driver, later identified as 49-year-old Christine Kreamer, who said she was okay.

Deputies say Kreamer has blood-shot watery eyes and was not giving direct answers to their questions. She "did not seem to comprehend what has just happened or that she was even involved in a motor vehicle crash," her arrest report states.

Kreamer was taken to the hospital and told deputies she was coming from Fujiyama's and had been there since 5:30 p.m., according to the report.

After she was cleared from the hospital, Kreamer was taken into custody and transported to the Collier County Sheriff's Office jail. She told deputies she didn't understand why she was being arrested, saying she didn't remember the crash or where she was coming from, her arrest report states.

Deputies say after testing, they found she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.157. She was cited with DUI and DUI property damage.
