UPDATE (11:55 AM) -- Court has wrapped for the day, with plans to resume on Monday with what is likely to be the state's final day of witnesses. The defense will likely begin calling witnesses on Tuesday.
The last witness today was Suzanne Buchhofer, an analyst with the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
She explained the maps she created using cell phone data records she pulled from AT&T. The state also had Buchhofer read a disclaimer from AT&T that cell phone pings are company's "best guess" at cell phones location.

UPDATE (9:15 AM) -- The 2nd witness of the day is Myra Simmons, a former analyst for the Lee County Sheriff's Office. She says she was asked to analyzed phone records in the case shortly after Teresa Sievers was killed.
Simmons uses chart to explain to jury the process of analyzing phone records and process of requesting cell phone tower data from phone companies.

Simmons says Curtis Wright used tracfone with GA area code to communicate with Mark Sievers. Says she was able to confirm this by tracing the location of tracfone and Wright's personal phone. Says both phones were pinged by cell phone tower closest to Wright's home in Missouri.

UPDATE (9 AM) -- The first witness of the day is Winston Chambers, a manager at Tracfone Wireless.
Chambers is asked about process of buying and activating tracfones. State shows him some records of a phone that was purchased and activated at a Walmart in Naples in Florida. Asks him to confirm that the records are correct.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A short day is expected in Day 6 of witness questioning by the state. Only three witnesses are scheduled to take the stand Wednesday after two busy days in which a combined 16 witnesses testified.
