Two teens arrested in connection to Lehigh Acres homicide

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. --- Lee County Sheriff's have made two additional arrest in connection with a Lehigh Acres homicide on Thursday. 

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office the two male teenagers, 17-years-old and 13-years-old, are being charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Robbery with a Firearm. 

"Sheriff Scott and I are extremely proud of the hard work of our team and the quick arrests made in this case," said Undersheriff Carmine Marceno. "We continue to keep the Hinso Estriplet and his family in our thoughts as they try to deal with this senseless murder."

On April 7, Sheriff's responded to a traffic crash near Ruth Avenue North and 31st Street West, just north of Sunshine Boulevard in Lehigh Acres. 

Once on the scene, deputies discovered a decreased male, later identified as Hinso Estriplet, with multiple gunshot wounds. Estriplet, a self-employed taxi driver, was violently robbed by the alleged suspects. 

Both male suspects are in custody.
