LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Two arrests have been made in connection to a burglary of a Bonita Springs home where a brutal murder took place.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, July 12th, deputies responded to a call for service regarding a residential burglary that occurred at the Sievers home on Jarvis Road in Bonita Springs, in which an authorized representative from a law firm indicated that the front door of the home had been found ajar.

It was determined that, at some time between July 5 and July 11, the home was burglarized.  A number of electronic and miscellaneous items were removed from the residence.

Then on July 22, a traffic stop on 29-year-old Robert Salyers resulted in the discovery of some of the items reported missing from the Sievers home.  He was arrested and charged with Burglary and Larceny.

Further investigation revealed that 29-year-old Alexander Cesario was also involved in the residential burglary.  He was arrested on July 24 and charged with Burglary and Larceny.

This home was the scene of the brutal murder of Dr. Teresa Sievers in June 2015.  Investigators say Mark Sievers hired Jimmy Rodgers and Curtis Wright to murder his wife inside that home for life insurance money.  She was found beat to death by a hammer inside the home.

Mark Sievers and Jimmy Rodgers are both charged with first degree murder and face the death penalty if convicted.
