NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 58-year woman has been killed in a crash along US 41 at West Mariana Avenue in North Fort Myers Thursday evening.
Police say the crash happened at 6:45 p.m.
They say a vehicle was facing north on US 41 inside the left turn lane onto West Mariana Avenue when another vehicle was traveling south along US 41 in the middle lane.
Police say the vehicle failed to yield and pulled out in front of the second vehicle, resulting in a crash. They say both vehicles came to a stop on the roadway.
Southbound US 41 was closed for some time Thursday night.
