IMMOKALEE, Fla. — Firefighters from the Immokalee Fire Control District battled to put out a fire on South 2nd Street.

Three homes were damaged according to officials.

The fire is under investigation.

There are no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross came and assisted seventeen people who were affected by the fire.

The Red Cross says they provided emergency financial assistance, relief items like toiletries, health, and mental health services, one-on-one support to connect people to available recovery assistance and will continue to provide additional support to the family to meet their disaster-caused needs.
