A suspicious person drove up to two brothers playing basketball and offered them money, Friday.

It happened outside of the brothers residence on SW 26th Avenue in Cape Coral.

The man suggested the two boys to have a free throw contest and he would reward the winner with a silver coin, Cape Coral Police said.

The boys missed the free throw shots and the man drove off. Moments later he came back and offered the boys the coin for free.

The youngest of the two brothers started walking toward the car but the older brother stopped him. The older brother then yelled to the man to throw the coin instead.

The man in the car said, "Let the little one come over here and get it," according to a report.

Scared, the two brothers went inside their home and the man drove off.

The suspicious man is described as being 40-50 years old with possibly graying light hair and a pale complexion. His clothes, height and weight is unknown. His car is described as an older compact 4 door sedan, white in color and was dirty.

If you have any information regarding the incident you are asked to call the Cape Coral Police Department at 239-574-3223.
