LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators say the man pictured here is wanted for the armed robbery of a 7-eleven store early Wednesday morning.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, witnesses say that just after 2:30 a.m., the suspect entered the store at 501 Sunshine Boulevard N. The suspect asked an employee if they were still selling beer, at which point he pulled a gun from his waistband and ordered the clerk to get behind the counter and hand over all the money in the register.
After being given an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled on foot, headed westbound on Lee Boulevard.
Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
