COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies are searching for a robber who held up a Golden Gate Bank of America Tuesday morning.

It happened at the branch in the Brooks Village shopping plaza on Collier Boulevard just south of Pine Ridge Road.

Detectives said a man walked up to a teller and handed a note demanding money. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he left the bank on foot and headed north.

No injuries were reported.

Deputies, assisted by the CCSO Drone, K9 and Aviation units, are out searching the surrounding area.

The robber is described as white. He was wearing eyeglasses, a black and white ball cap, a green long sleeve shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, and blue jeans.
