Aaron Carter was found dead in his Lancaster, California home this morning, according to a TMZ report.
Carter, born in Tampa, was a rapper, singer and actor who gained popularity as a pop and hip hop artist in the late 1990s.
He went on to release four studio albums and become a regular on Nickelodeon.
Aaron was also the younger brother of Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter and briefly toured with the group.
