HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies responded to a call and found David Zavala, 19 unresponsive in the back seat of a truck.
A quick investigation led police to a 16-year shooter who they believe was responsible for shooting Zavala.
Deputies believe the motive for the murder is drug related.
The suspect was placed under arrest on charges of First-Degree Murder.
He was then transported to Department of Juvenile Justice where he remains at this time.
