Southeast 8th street in Cape Coral is under knee deep water after heavy downpoors caused an overflow of a nearby pond on Saturday.
Carol Schneider said she saw three cars get towed outside her home after trying to drive through the water.
And when they make it through, it causes different problems.
"Cars go by too fast and it's sending it all up into the garage and into my living room," said neighbor Lorraine Stevenson.
Stevenson and her husband moved here three months ago and said they've never seen rain and flooding like this.
She said, "There's fish swimming in this water today."
Residents on this street are preparing for the worst and are expecting more rain to come Sunday.
"This is scary!" said Stevenson.
Cape Coral Police have created their own website for information on the flooding in this area.
