UPDATE 12/20/20
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says a 47-year-old man has died after a single vessel boating accident on Saturday.
Dive crews searched for 47-year-old Richard Brent Toms after he was thrown from his vessel and didn't resurface.
FWC says they were called out around 5:30 pm on Saturday in regards to the accident in the community of The Harborage in Fort Myers, Lee County.
Investigators say the vessel was a 10 ft. PWC and it was being operated by Toms in a private lake inside the community.
They say dive crews with the FWC and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office helped search for Toms.
FWC says he was found deceased.
The FWC is reminding boaters to wear a life jacket and maintain 360-degree awareness at all times.

On Saturday San Carlos Park Fire reported one patient had been transported as a trauma alert.
They are now reporting that person was involved in a separate incident that happened at the same time.

The San Carlos Park Fire says they are responding to a water rescue resulting from a jet/water accident.
They say they were called to the Harborage around 5:40pm.
San Carlos Park Fire says one person was trauma alerted to a local hospital and another person is missing.
They say the Iona-McGregor Dive Team, The Urban Search and Rescue Team, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and Estero Fire are all on scene assisting with the search.
