Scholarship opportunities for Lee and Collier students wishing to pursue criminal justice, police, or public safety degree

The Robert L. Zore Foundation, Fallen Officers, announced Scholarships opportunities for Collier and Lee County.

Any student whose parents, or relative that are current or retired law enforcement and wishing to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice, or any police or public safety degree can apply for a $500.00 scholarship per year.

Donations from a Legends Concert Series, Mission 2244 Gala, Blues For The Blue Concert, The Blue Bowl, Boots For Badges Concert, and other events go towards these scholarships. The funds stay in Collier and Lee County.

Currently, there are 29 Fallen Officers in Lee and Collier County. With 29 Fallen Officers Scholarships in the name of the “Fallen Officer” will total $14,500 to help students pursuing a degree in criminal justice, law, public safety, or going into the academy.

There are also two K9’s scholorships and those two scholarships will go to any individual going in the K9 Department.

The 29 recipients will be on stage for our final Legends Concert on July 2, 2021, and will be presented their scholarship check and plaque.

The Fallen Officers of Lee and Collier County FL Scholarship Requirements:
1: A Lee or Collier County Senior or Full Time College student.
2: Who is the son, daughter, relative of a sworn officer working or retired for any law enforcement agency within the geographical boundaries of Lee and Collier County.
3: Is planning to or is currently majoring in criminal justice, law, or public safety at an accredited college or university.
4: Currently maintains a 2.5 minimum grade point average.

Students can apply for a $500.00 scholarship in the name of Fallen Officers Of Collier and Lee County.
